commenced working as a Quantity Surveyor in 1964, and was awarded the Earp Thompson Award for the highest number of marks in "Analysis of Prices" in his RICS Final Examination in 1973. He formed Michael French Associates in 1977 and has been responsible for development and management including new business generation and early expansion in the Middle East and Australia.
He was a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators from 1978 until 1995.
Michael has extensive experience of alterations and refurbishment work, including private residential properties, as a Quantity Surveyor, Project Manager and Contract Administrator.
On 15 occasions over the last four years, Michael has been appointed to carry out Expert Reports in connection with Building Contract financial disputes or disputes in respect of specification and materials and workmanship. He has appeared in court six times as an Expert Witness in these matters.
